# Help with creating homepage slideshow

Hello! I’m learning to use learning groups and have been trying to create a slideshow. The instructions in the support section don’t seem to align with creating the slideshow. I’m getting stuck at “URL.”

I can’t find what url to use for this? Any help will be appreciated!

Hi Ana,  
The slide is expecting a link. We’ve setup our slides to link to courses on our site. However, the url can be to anything. You could link it back to the home page of your learning group. If the learner clicks on the image, it won’t go anywhere. We use the slideshow on our homepage to promote upcoming courses with a “register” call to action. The slide timing is fixed. If you have any text on your slides, you’ll want to allow the visitors time enough to read the text. We also include alt text and number our slides. In the module, you can set how many slides that you’d like to appear.
