# How to change community notifications frequency

Hi Joel—

Is there a way to set this forum to daily subscription? I couldn’t see how to do that.

Hi Patricia,

I’ve moved your post to a new topic.

Currently users who are members of the ethosce\_customer role are set to mailing list mode by default. Mailing list mode means you get a copy of every post and reply, just like a mailing list.

However you can change this by clicking your user icon at the top right and then clicking the wrench.

Click “Emails” and then uncheck “Enable mailing list mode.”

Check the checkbox that says “When I don’t visit here, send me an email summary of popular topics and replies”

Then set the frequency you would like summaries (daily) and click “Save changes.”
