As chief technology officer at DLC Solutions/EthosCE I am lucky to interact with CE professionals every day. Working on our flagship product, EthosCE, I hunt and harvest input from our customers on how to make our application solve problems. That input goes directly into our product planning meetings where I get to work with some of the smartest and most dedicated engineers and quality assurance professionals in the industry. Working with our marketing and customer support teams, we can deliver updates and new features to the leading LMS in the CME and CE industries: EthosCE. It’s incredible rewarding to take customer requests and ideas and deliver them in a working product a few months later.
I started in the newspaper industry where I focused on the visual display of information both online and in print. That experience was excellent preparation for making the administration and delivery of learning simple and effective. Both jobs involve simplifying complex information and making it easier to create and consume. I’ve also worked in consumer healthcare marketing and education and traveled the world implementing technology systems for leading pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
Since 1998 I’ve worked primarily in healthcare education. I started as an art director and quickly moved into technical project management. In 2002 I joined DLC Solutions and became CTO soon after. My experience working with EthosCE includes more than 60 implementations of e-learning systems specializing in continuing education in medicine, nursing and pharmacy. I’ve solved loads of problems for our customers, and I treasure every day I get to do that. Learning about the pain points of associations, academic health centers and other organizations allows me to apply that knowledge to EthosCE.
