We are in the beginning stages of planning our annual EthosCE User Group Meeting for 2021. Last year, the event was moved to be virtual, and we are considering a virtual event this spring or an in-person event in July. There is a possibility of a joint event with Cadmium!

Our annual meeting is in October. We are hoping to have a live meeting but there is too much uncertainty this early, so we haven’t confirmed yet. Either way, we are no offering all the session from the annual meeting in an on demand format for those first line workers who have limitations in their travel.
Do you currently have travel restrictions in place? If so, until when?
We have very limited travel restrictions. Only staff who have direct relationships with their assigned hospitals are allowed to travel to that hospital. All other travel is still prohibited. This includes no travel to conferences. We are located in Dallas TX, and our offices are still shut down through April 2021. And that could change depending on how bad the cases get here in Texas this winter.

We have several conferences. All are virtual in the first half of the year. It is likely the second half will be virtual as well with some small in-person.
Do you currently have travel restrictions in place? If so, until when? Travel restrictions are in place until June 30, 2021. Even if travel restrictions are lifted, budgets may limit the ability to travel.

We are virtual through mid summer. We have our AM in October and moving forward with COVID safe in person plans. But yes, its a world of uncertainty.
We are not planning any live events for Spring 2021 and Brown Universtiy has extended its travel restrictions for faculty, staff, students indefinitely. I do but expect that nonessential travel will be allowed through Spring.
Most of the events we are planning for 2021 are virtual, although we are working with some depts that are tentatively planning live for next fall. For every conference that is planning live, we are requiring they have a “Plan B” in case they cannot have an in-person event.

Yes, our Annual is scheduled for Sept 2021 in Las Vegas with hybrid planning underway. We also currently have April and June in-person conferences scheduled. These are prep courses for Board exams so we’re actively monitoring the status of the exams.
Yes. We are hosting our Annual Assembly virtually Feb. 17-19. It’s a heavy lift for staff and volunteers. Lots of decisions to make about virtual platforms and content delivery.
IDSA is planning virtual events through spring at this point. The second half of the year we have our large annual meeting, which may be a hybrid event but details have not yet been determined.
