I am attempting to create an Ethos multiple choice quiz in which the feedback is not displayed to the user unless they pass at >75%. Under taking options the following are selected:
“allow resume”
“fresh attempt every time”
“showed passed status”
No feedback is selected under “review options” yet a display of the question, response grid appears to the learner at the end of the quiz. This appears if the learner has passed or failed the attempt.
Is there any way to notify the learner that they have not passed the attempt, without letting them know which questions they have answered correctly or incorrectly?
This may be happening if you are taking the quiz and have an advanced role, like course or site admin. If you can test with an account that doesn’t have any special privs you can see exactly what the learner will.
Thank you for this suggestion. Are there any settings in which you can provide a “score” result to the student without showing them specifically what questions they answered correctly or incorrectly. It seems that all of the options that I try still provide the specific question marking as correct or incorrect.
