Display SMS opt in/out on mobile tab
Additional SMS preference configurations are now available on all EthosCE sites with an active SMS gateway enabled. Users will now be able to see the status of their SMS opt in/out status when viewing the mobile tab. This display provides instructions on how to opt out or opt back in to receive SMS text messages from the site.
Enable CAPTCHA on password recovery form
The addition of a CAPTCHA on the password recovery form provides an extra layer of security for all EthosCE sites. This security update ensures that all EthosCE Site users will be able to securely reset their password while keeping user accounts secure from potential outside malicious activity.
Youtube embed video fix
In early December of 2020, YouTube changed their default embed mechanism which broke EthosCE’s page editor YouTube embed button. While a temporary workaround was made available, this update provides a permanent fix to ensure seamless embedding of YouTube videos.
Implement support for Clover (BluePay) payment gateway
EthosCE has added support for the Clover (formally known as BluePay) payment gateway.
Bug fixes and other improvements
EthosCE 7.40 also includes various other improvements, bug and security fixes.
