Number of learners not receiving texts is escalating

Hi All, Approvals are coming in and I’ve reached out to many of you already to let you know that your SMS process is functional once more. I am continuing to go through and check every client manually to be sure all is good before contacting you.

Bad news, is that anyone that is not approved will have texts cut off completely in or out. I can promise you I am in contact with Twilio to push approvals as quickly as possible. This may cause an issue with attendance being marked now that the system is not receiving texts at this time.

I’m seeing some light at the end of the tunnel, finally and hope to have these wrapped up by the end of this week. I will reach out if I should need anything further from you for the approval process.

Is the SMS system down already for clients who have yet to be approved? If not, when is it expected to go down? This is unclear as it seems we have SMS functionality, but we have yet to be told we’ve been approved.

Is there going to be additional support allocated to clients who are dealing with fallout from the lack of approval? I find it incredibly concerning for news of that magnitude to be shared without any plans for dealing with an entire service going down.

If you have been approved, your SMS function will not be cut off. This is only affecting clients that have not been approved. I am reaching out to those have been approved to let you know SMS is functioning. I am currently trying to confirm which clients are left to approve.

Show of hands - who has been approved? Not approved?
If approved, have you seen improvement?
If not approved, have you seen any further degradation (eg learners text in but don’t get marked attended)?

We have been approved (University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville/Prisma Health) and have not had any reports from learners of further issues.

Mayo Clinic has been approved and no issues since.

I am assuming that we (Vizient Inc.) are still not approved as we are still having problems. Unsure about further degradation since we have been trying to recover from the SMS function not working properly during our biggest event of the year.
