User-led Discussion Post-call Thread (Feb. 2nd, RSS)

Hi all, thanks for the great discussion today! It was great to hear everyone’s different uses and setups for RSS. I’ve created this thread to keep the conversation going, in case anyone has more questions or comments.

Two items were brought up in the call which seemed well-suited to continue in this thread:

  • Julie Eagan @julie.butler-eagan offering to share their evaluation setup and questions (I hope this is correct, I may have slightly misunderstood the offer!)

  • Stacey O’Brien asked if there was a survey of how folks handle the question of re-opening courses to allow learners to claim credit later, and whether or not they charge an administrative fee. If you have an approach that we did not discuss, please share!

And lastly, please fill out this short 2-question survey to suggest future topics and share any feedback you may have about the call format.

Hi Marion

You were asking about our RSS evaluation. Below is the email and a link to one of our RSS evaluations that we send out once a year. We ask our planners to give attendees a heads up in the sessions, so they know that an email is coming to them. Some of the questions we ask are identical to our eval questions for enduring and live courses. We do this to aggregate the data easily for all of our education. It is a very manual process and if anyone has a better way I will be interested in learning!

If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Hi Julie, Thanks for providing your RSS annual evaluation. It helps to see what questions others ask in their evaluation/surveys. As I mentioned we would really like to change our eval process from every session to possibly quarterly.

Unfortunately, we, too, have to do a lot of manual work to get an overall evaluation for a series. I wish I could help you there.
