We’d be on board with this addition, too. A lot of people let things expire, and not being sure of the date could play into this. We would also love for there to be a search field on this page so people can more easily find courses they’re looking for.

That would be a good addition to Pending Activities. We send a reminder letter out 60 days before a course expires, so people aren’t caught unaware. So far, we haven’t had too many people ask for an extension. Patricia

Which then brings up another good point: has anyone set up an auto-reminder email for online, longer-term courses that are nearing the end of their shelf life? What has been your experience with this?

Thanks Gail - I was just about to ask that. We tried, but found that the sending of the reminders was contingent on the user logging on. It created a lot of confusion, so until we have a better understanding of how they work, we have put that idea on hold.

We give extensions as long as the content is less than 3 years old (per our ANCC requirements.) But in 2018, we are going to be a lot more rigid and use the EthosCE available to date as it was meant to be used.
