Third Quarter 2020 Product Roadmap update
As planned, the third quarter of 2020 includes improvements to the reminders and notifications functionality within EthosCE. This release includes improvements and additions to the calendar invitation functionality for live course activities as well as RSS activities. We will continue to release improvements to the reminders and notifications system as we enter the final quarter of 2020. Stay tuned for more!
Addition of add-to-calendar links on the session landing page
Similar to the calendar links on a course activity in EthosCE, the session landing page now supports the option of downloading calendar invites for sessions within a Regularly Scheduled Series. Learners will now be able to download individual calendar events for Google, Yahoo, iCal, and Outlook calendars.
Addition of calendar invites on enrollment confirmation emails for live activities
EthosCE now includes calendar invites as an attachment in live activity enrollment confirmations. Learners who enroll in a live EthosCE activity will receive a .ics attachment file to add the live event to their preferred digital calendar. Administrators will also be able to send broadcast emails to learners with an updated .ics file if the live activity information happens to change.
Support for calendar subscriptions to group events
EthosCE support group calendars, which can be enabled in RSS Series, Learning Groups, and Enrollment groups.
These calendar subscriptions include a link to a .ics file, which can be used to subscribe to all the group events, which will add them to a calendar such as Google, Yahoo, or Outlook. Calendar subscriptions will now also be available for download on group calendars when the calendar feature is enabled. Look for the “Download all events” link at the bottom of the calendar.

MOC reporting for RSS sessions
EthosCE now supports the ability to report MOC credits to PARS and JA-PARS from a Regularly Scheduled Series session.

EthosCE 7.37 also includes various other improvements, bug and security fixes.
