Hello! I’m wondering if anyone has implemented something like a question bank for their learners, as a study guide or practice tool. I know I can create a quiz with all the questions, but we also have categories for the questions that we want people to be able to see/look at as well. For example, we plan to have about 600 questions as part of this question bank, divided into 12 categories. Users may want to see just one category of questions or see a randomized group from the full set.
If anyone has experience or suggestions, I’d be grateful!
It is possible to group questions into a category and then configure a quiz to pull a number of random questions from the question bank based on the selected category. To allow the learner to choose which category to be tested on, the activity would need to use individual quizzes that pull only one category of questions. If this is a study guide, you would make the quizzes skippable so the learner could go to any quiz they wanted.
There could be multiple quizzes on the same topic, so the learner is tested several times.
The question importer is a great suggestion for a large set like this! Good luck!
