We currently use the restrict by date for promotional discounts within a certain time frame. Our company is now wanting to sell coupon packages continuously but only want the user to have 30-60 days to use the code.
Is there a way to setup this type of discount program? I noticed this button “Alter coupon date restrictions relative to the purchase date.” but not sure how this would work since the date restriction is by date and there is no way to set a number of days. There is also no details about this button on the coupon section of the support site.
Example if a bulk coupon is restricted by date say May 1 - May 30 (30 Days) would the code remain open if the “Alter coupon date restrictions relative to the purchase date” option is selected and allow for purchases beyond that would be restricted to 30 days relative to the date of purchase? Could a user then by on June 1 and have 30 days to use the codes?
We want to have this be a continuous product purchase but do not want users to have unlimited time to redeem their code.
