Data Reporting Errors to PARS (RSS and Parent/Child Activity Builds)

Has anyone noticed discrepancies in the data that is being reported into PARS? Specifically, enrollment data for courses that have relationships built in (parent/child) and regularly scheduled series. It’s that time of the year to report our learner data and we are finding that what enrollment data there is in Ethos does not match what is being reported in PARS. This creates extra, manual work, to run course reports and better understand out learner counts/disciplines, etc. then go into the activity in PARS and correct the erroneous data.

Is anyone else suffering this???

Hi, we use JA-PARS for RSS. We see an issue with counts because the learner has not completed their profile, so the system doesn’t know if they are a physician, nurse, etc. We do have the rule a learner needs to complete their profile to purchase a course but there is no charge for RSS so they can text and still have an incomplete profile. Manually updating for those series that don’t match.

Good morning,
I like the rule that users can’t purchase a course if they have an incomplete profile. How do you enforce that? Is there an automated process?

Hi, adding that rule was something we discussed during implementation. I would submit a ticket and ask if they can do that.
