EthosCE 7.68 Released

7.68 was released to test sites on 5/4/23 and will move to production sites on 5/10/23. Sites will be updated per the release schedule. For a full list of changes, please review the changelog.

State Board CME Reporting via ACCME PARS

Customers who would like to report to state boards can submit a configuration ticket to EthosCE Support. Once configured, all U.S. States and Territories will be added to the board widget as new selections. Learners will select their State(s) and add their board/license ID or NPI. When a learner completes AMA PRA Category 1 CME, this information will then be sent to ACCME via PARS. All States can be reported to the ACCME, but only select State boards are participating at this time. More information on the ACCME State collaboration is available at: State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration | ACCME

If you are interested in activating this reporting, a ticket will need to be submitted to support at that time to get the process started. Our team will then review current reporting configurations/dependencies and advise if any changes are needed prior to configuring the state reporting in your test environment. We expect a high volume of these requests over the next few weeks and we will do our best to process them as quickly as possible.

Support for Additional MOC Credit Types

Using the MOC credit reporter, the following MOC credit types can now be submitted to the ACCME via PARS.

moc credit types

*The following credits cannot be submitted on their own and must be submitted alongside one of the additional new credit types for each respective board.

To add these new credit types, please submit a ticket to EthosCE Support.

Coming Soon

The current JWT Zoom App used for Zoom Integration is being deprecated and will be released in the forthcoming release with a new EthosCE Zoom OAuth app.

When we will be receiving next steps for the Zoom integration updates?

The Zoom App should be released with the June Monthly release. We are currently awaiting approval from Zoom on the app. More information will be released at that time. Zoom did recently announce that customers utilizing the JWT app type can continue to do so until September 1st, 2023. More info on that announcement can be found here: https://developers.zoom.us/docs/internal-apps/jwt-faq/.
