Physician Assistants Transcripts

We have some physician assistants that are insistent that we somehow alter our transcripts to state that activities that they received continuing education credits include a statement that those activities were certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. While none have had issues with using the transcripts as is, they did show information from the AAPA that backs this up. On certificates, we have our JA accreditation on it but are not specific to the credit types. What do you all do for non AAPA accredited activities documentation for PAs?

Hey Jennifer and CE Team!

Nurse practitioners, Advanced Practice and Healthcare Team (SW, APTA, etc.) are seeking our CME accredited activities to support their credentialing as Non-MDs. :slightly_smiling_face:

Showing the designation of "was designated for AMA PRA…" is helpful for your general attendance at a CME certificate and more so these days with transcripts.

Transcript specific edits to headers can be made to include a “designation” - which shows general attendance AT a CME designated event. Sums totals at end of transcript for the types of attendance.

This is super helpful for all CME RSS to add this sub-designation, as it’s Golden.

We add to all other LIVE CMEs and general attendance - child credit for this to show at a CME.

In collaboration with NCPD - we have added a CHILD CREDIT option to our ATTENDANCE Credit Setting
Event - Edit - Credit Settings - Attendance AND drop down menu with Child under the header for (AMA, NCPD, Trauma in our use)

Hey Jennifer,

Did any of the physician associates who contacted you provide a link to AAPA’s site outlining the requirements? We have helped with adding transcript statements in the past, and it is always helpful to have links like these.

Hi Joel –

They sent me this information attached.

Best, Jenn
