We get this question often: the email states “Remember to provide the participants with sms/text enrollment code so that they can automatically record their attendance and claim credit.” and the coordinator asks: “but where’s the code?” We have to direct them back to the session landing page. It would be really helpful to include the code in the email. We used to be able to do this and the coordinators would simply forward the email to their faculty. I know… this is only one more step, but we all know: folks don’t like change.
We typically don’t do that because we don’t want coordinators to think it’s ok to email out the text code to people - they only provide the code live during the session (sign posted when in person, and in the slide deck as well for in person and virtual) so we can have some semblance of ensuring people actually attended.
