I’m curious what video providers can be used. I know Vimeo and YouTube are supported because I see them listed as options. However we use Kaltura at my university and I’d like to use it if I can. Getting permission to use a different provider will be slow and difficult.
EthosCE uses an embedding format called oEmbed.
Flickr, Noembed, Qik, Revision3, Scribd, SlideShare, SmugMug, SoundCloud, Twitter, Viddler, Vimeo and YouTube are supported by default.
Additional video providers can be added as long as they work with the oEmbed format.
Kaltura does work with oEmbed and we’ve implemented support for it with other clients.
